The Book edited by, Prof. Imtiaz A. Hussain

Global rivalry has come to South Asia, but not with bullets and bombs: economic rivalry such as China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), may be opening up military doors, like the US Indo-Pacific strategy. These dynamics make India surrounded by Chinese projects, and for the first time India is going global to ramp up its’ alliance system.
To articulate all this and to make these issues familiar to the students scholastically, a book titled, “South Asia in Global Power Rivalry – Inside-out Appraisals from Bangladesh” has been edited by Professor Imtiaz Hussain, Head, Global Studies & Governance Program and Dean (Acting), School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences at IUB.
