I am a cinephile, who loves watching and reading cinema and the visual medium of communication. My love for film was triggered while pursuing my Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Digital Media at the American University of Rome, in Italy. Since then, my motivation was further driven into film and video production.
While pursing my Master of Social Science degree from Independent University, Bangladesh, I have also expanded my perspective more into reading and understanding cinema as a visual form of communication. I wish to combine my skills of contemporary and Avante-garde filmmaking and film analysis to find hidden gems and power of the visual medium of communication
Academic Background
BSS in Mass Communication and Journalism (University of Dhaka, 2015); MSS in Mass Communication and Journalism (University of Dhaka, 2016). She has been awarded with `President Gold Medal-2015’ and `Ruquayyah Memorial Foundation Gold Medal’ for academic and co-curricular achievement in 50th convocation of University of Dhaka.
