Nuran Choudhury joined IUB as Lecturer A. He joined academia in 2015. Mr. Choudhury has completed his last LL.M. in Litigation and Dispute Resolution from the Law School of The George Washington University with Ben Gupta Scholarship. He received U.S. presidential honor for his pro bono service. He completed his previous LL.M. (Human Rights and International Law) and LL.B. from University of Dhaka. His interests in the fields arrayed from criminal justice delivery system to dispute resolution mechanism which has given him the opportunity to work with Dispute Resolution Committee, American Bar Association, Bangladesh Institute of Law and International Affairs (BILIA), D.C Law chambers, Landlord and Tenancy Court of D.C. Superior Court, Washington Foreign law Society, Research and Migratory Movements Research Unit (RMMRU), and in different other private and state-owned organizations. Mr. Choudhury introduced Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Bangladesh in 2017 for which he received the honor of outstanding national administrator in 2017. He is the current national coordinator of ILSA Chapters in Bangladesh.
