Md. Ohidujjaman, Senior Lecturer, Global Studies & Governance (GSG) Program, School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (SLASS) at the Independent University Bangladesh (IUB), has been teaching for more than eight (8) years at the university level. He completed his graduate and post-graduate studies in Sociology from the University of Dhaka. Mr. Jaman has ample experience in carrying out different research projects of different national and international development organizations, including Save the Children, Plan International, Oxfam, Traidcraft-UK, Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB) and Agricultural Information Service (AIS)-Ministry of Agriculture. In these organizations, he has conducted several studies on education, women’s empowerment, livelihood, SRHR, children rights, gender violence, project management along with other related social issues. Mr. Jaman has also published four (4) academic articles in different prominent national and international peer-reviewed journals.
