Mr. Maidul Alam Chaklader has graduated with distinction from Durham University, UK as an Anthropologist, with the specialties including medical anthropology and qualitative research methodology. Previously, he completed Master of Public Health from Independent University, Bangladesh and received Chancellor’s Gold Medal for maintaining a CGPA of 4.00 out of 4.00. He also obtained BSc in Environmental Management degree from Independent University, Bangladesh and was the valedictorian (CGPA 3.99).
Mr. Chaklader has conducted extensive research on a wide range of diverse topics: child health in low-income settings, marginalization of ethnic minority communities, health inequality, migration and health, primary education in resource-poor settings etc. He has also previously worked with Save the Children Bangladesh. Currently, he is working as a lecturer in Anthropology at Independent University, Bangladesh where he is teaching and conducting research.
