Ms. Rezina Nazneen Rimi received an MA in English Literature from Dhaka University. She also completed Masters in ELT from the same institution. She teaches foundation courses and ELT core courses. Her research interests include Syllabus Design, Testing and Evaluation, Material development for ELT classes and South Asian Diaspora Literature. She also has keen interest in Literature and Creative Writing. Ms. Rezina Nazneen Rimi has participated in numerous workshops and seminars held in and outside IUB. She conducted a workshop entitled The Effect of listening in ELT in Bangladesh in October, 2008 at the department of English, IUB. She coauthored a research article on Importance of the Practice of Action Research for ELT Professionals in Bangladesh which has been published in PANINI (NSU) Journal VOL. 5, 2007-2011. She also coauthored with Ms. Saara Zabeen the research paper titled Extensive Reading: Using Diaspora Literature to develop learners Command in Reading skills in the SLASS Faculty Research Project 2012. At present she is working in the SLASS Faculty Research Project, 2013. The title of the research paper is Code switching in children in Bangladesh.
