IUB Hosts Seminar on Major Challenges of Dhaka

Global Studies & Governance (GSG) Program organized a daylong seminar on 18 November, 2019 on sustainable urban planning titled "The New Megacity: for Whom" in collaboration with the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), UNESCO, and IHE DELFT.  Four University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) professors including the Dean, School of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs presented their research papers. Synthia Kainath Nur, student of Media and Communication department from Independent University, Bangladesh has been selected for the 2018 Korean Government Invitation Program (KGIP) for students from partner countries. She has been chosen by the recommendation of Professor Zakir Hossain Raju, Head of Media and Communication department.
