Chaitra Sankranti, the last day of Bangla calendar month is being celebrated every year through colorful activities across the country. This is an occasion when vows are made to forget the pains, agonies and bitter memories of the passing year and look ahead to a happy and meaningful future. To mark the day, School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (SLASS) at IUB celebrated this annual festival on April 11, 2019 in its own campus in Bashundhara, Dhaka along with so many traditional events. South Asian University Team from Delhi Visits Dept. of Media and Communication

Faculty members of the Department of Sociology of South Asian University, New Delhi have visited IUB on March 25. Vice president of the university Prof. Sasanka Perera, as well as Dr. Ravi Kumar and Dr. Dev Nath Pathak from the Dept of Sociology met Prof. Zakir Hossain Raju, Head of the Department of Media and Communication at IUB.
