Talk on Rabindranath Tagore held at IUB
The School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized a Talk entitled “Photography and Iconic Personality: Rabindranath Tagore” on February 5, 2018 at IUB’s own campus in Bashundhara, Dhaka. Prof. Malavika Karlekar, the Editor of the Indian Journal of Gender Studies at the Centre for Women’s Development Studies, New Delhi, delivered the talk. Prof. Karlekar hails from a distinguished Bengali family of Kolkata closely associated with the Bengal renaissance of the 19th and early 20th century.
